For landscapers and hardscaping contractors
You walked the garden. Send the quote before you leave the drive.
Four visits in a day, each one an hour of walking a plot, checking the fall, working out what comes out before anything goes in. Every quote is different because every garden is, so the price list a shopfitter could publish is no use to you.
The quotes get written up after dark, at the kitchen table, in software that feels like doing a tax return. By then the homeowner has had two other people round and one of them answered the same evening.
The gap is not the work. It is the eleven hours between standing in the garden knowing the number and the customer being able to read it.
What went in.
What came back.
A page that lays the phases out in order and gives them a way to agree to it, in the thread. It is live right now — open it and check.
Three more things you could send from the same thread
- A price list you change by messagingThe menu, the rates, the timetable, what is included. When the price goes up you say so in the thread.
- A page from a video you filmedWalk round talking about it. What you said becomes the words, and the best frames become the pictures.
- A gallery of your photosThe trip, the job, the wedding, the house you finally finished. Or everything in it, photographed for the insurance.
- A form people fill inAsk for the date, the size, the budget — whatever you need before you can answer them. It arrives on WhatsApp.
What it will not do
Nine things, straight off the product’s own list. If one of them is what you need, this is the wrong tool and it is better to know now.
- taking an owner's money, or putting more credit on their account
- changing what an entry SAYS from the conversation, or rewriting a stranger's submission anywhere
- deleting the account itself — wiping everything we hold about the owner and closing them down
- cutting stills from a video longer than twenty minutes
- an account or a login for anybody who is not the owner — a customer, a team-mate, a guest
- a page that takes money from the people who open it — a checkout, a card field, a shopping basket
- exporting a PDF
- a second person editing the page itself
- editing or cutting a video file
Questions landscapers and hardscaping contractors ask
Can a landscaper build a quote from a phone, on site?
Yes — sending it from a phone on site is the only way wiwi works. A landscaper sends the phases and the prices as a WhatsApp message from the truck, and a page comes back a few minutes later as a link. There is nothing to install, no account to make and no password.
Can the customer agree to the quote on the page?
The page can ask, and the answer reaches you on WhatsApp. wiwi puts the question on the page itself — the quote above ends in a panel for exactly that — so a homeowner reading it on their phone can respond without composing an email. Nothing about it is a contract, and wiwi does not track or freeze an acceptance.
What happens when the price changes?
A landscaper sends the change as a message and the page updates. The customer keeps the link they already have, so a revised quote does not mean a second attachment and a conversation about which one is current.
Can I show photographs of similar gardens in the same quote?
Yes. wiwi takes the photographs from your phone alongside the prices, so the quote and the proof that you have done it before arrive as one page rather than as a document plus a link to a profile.
Send it the thing you keep explaining.
The photos still sitting in the thread. The video nobody has watched. The price list you have typed out four times this month.
